The Three Billy Goats Gruff
We retold the story using the puppets: "The troll try to eat them. He said: ' Who's that trip trapping over my bridge?' Then he jumped on the bridge . He said:' Go before I eat you!'" (Ivar)
We used construction toys to try and build some different bridges for the goats to cross safely.
Oh no! The children think that there may be a troll living under the Squirrel School bridge. Quick, find something that will make our foot steps quieter on the bridge!
The Gingerbread Man
We have been enjoying the story of The Gingerbread Man. We are so good at joining in and retelling the story.

In the story, The Gingerbread Man does not want to get wet in the river. He excepts help from the fox to help him get across and that is when he really gets into trouble!
We carried out an experiment to see what happens to gingerbread when it gets wet.
