As part of Anti- Bullying week, we have been thinking about kindness. We read a story called 'A spot of kindness' and learned about how we can be kind to each other. The children then went home with a spot on their hand, to remind them to spread kindness to others through their actions and words.
As part of Remembrance day on 11th November, Class 6 were really lucky to meet a real soldier from the army. Lance- Corporal Smith- Preston told us all about the job of a solider now and how he doesn't go to war, but has a very important job of protecting the Queen!
What a brilliant time the children and teachers had on Monday as part of our 'Lets Celebrate' topic!
|The children partook in a range of activities including- Splatter painting, bonfire cupcakes, fruit kebabs, shape rockets and clay bonfires. In the evening we had hot chocolate and our snacks, followed by a brilliant firework display when it went dark!
