Art Focus Week Sculptures
The children began by looking at different types of sculpture, identifying the materials that had been used and the size of the designs. they were challenged to create a their own version of a Winter Olympics athlete. Children used wire to design and make their sculptures.
Class 19 used pipe cleaners to begin exploring sculpture designs.
When making their final sculptures the children form to their wire sculptures using string, foil and other materials.
The children were very proud of their final sculptures.
